The latest addition to NITECORE’s EDC series, the EDC29 LUMINBLADE is an ultra-slim, high-performance flashlight designed for everyday carry and tactical applications. Engineered to be the most powerful ultra-slim tactical flashlight yet, it delivers an impressive 6,500 lumens and a beam distance of 400 meters, all in a sleek design that fits comfortably in your hand.

Featuring a slim design and the exceptional performance of the TM (Tiny Monster) series, the EDC29 redefines what a compact flashlight can achieve. Built with a dual LED system (2 x UHi 20 MAX LEDs) with 18 cores, it delivers unmatched brightness and extraordinary long-range capabilities in an ultra-slim design, outperforming bulkier mid-size flashlights and setting a new standard in performance.

Integrated light control technology provides an intuitive user experience. With three versatile modes (LUMIN SHIELD™, second-generation STROBE READY™, and 400-meter tactical SEARCH mode), users can quickly adapt to various scenarios. The LUMIN SHIELD™ creates 6,500 lumens of light for immediate protection over a wide area that protects you from threats and illuminates the surroundings without causing glare. The STROBE mode offers randomly changing frequencies between 16 Hz and 20 Hz and causes stronger dizzying effects due to the inadaptability of the naked eye. In tactical SEARCH mode, the two main LED cores can be activated alone to emit a superb 3,000 lumens beam and generate 40,230 cd, rivaling compact tactical flashlights in terms of range.

Featuring two dual-stage tactical tail switches, the EDC29 provides precise control over activation, deactivation, and brightness level adjustment with half or full presses. The customizable tactical button allows users to tailor functions to their needs (half press for SEARCH and full press for LUMIN SHIELD™ or STROBE), enabling quick responses in critical situations. The popular Rapid Lock™ provides quick and easy locking; a simple slide lets you fully lock, half lock, or unlock the flashlight for immediate response, especially in critical situations.

The EDC29 features a rugged body with an armor-inspired composite anti-slip design. The stainless steel shells on the front and back are seamlessly integrated into a carbon fiber composite frame, creating a unique armor-like texture that provides a secure and comfortable grip whether you’re using it barehanded or with gloves. The whole assembly is reinforced with four sets of connecting bolts, ensuring a durable and robust construction. Despite its rugged construction, the EDC29 is lightweight (only 160 grams (5.64 oz)) without sacrificing strength. It’s able to withstand heavy pressure, twisting, and bending.

Powered by a built-in 2,500mAh Li-ion battery, the EDC29 achieves up to 61 hours of runtime. This represents a 47% increase in capacity over the previous EDC27 UHi, reducing the need for frequent charging.

An OLED display provides real-time information on brightness level, battery voltage, remaining power, etc. In addition, the flashlight features two lock modes, a level preset function, and a sensor protection function. It is waterproof to IP54 standards and can withstand drops from a height of 1 meter, ensuring its reliability in various environments.
